Usama Al-Barwani
Managing Director and Shareholder

Usama Al-Barwani is the Managing Director of United Engineering Services (UES) and a Shareholder of MB Holding Company LLC. He is also currently actively involved in the overall day-to-day functions of MB Holding and is a member of the advisory board. Usama manages the group’s Business Development function which is responsible for pursuing new ventures and new businesses. Usama is also the executive Director for the group’s operations in the Far-East (MBPS Malaysia in Kula Lumpur, and MB Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong).

Usama is also the Chairman of “The Flexible Industrial Packages Company”, an independent packaging manufacturer and exporter that is listed on the Muscat Securities Market”. Usama has been elected to the Board and Audit Committee of “Taageer Finance Company SAOG”, a publicly traded entity on the Muscat Securities Market, which has the distinction of being the fastest growing Non-banking finance company in Oman. He is a board Member of Alliance Housing Bank, a premier housing bank entity in Oman.

Usama obtained a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Tulsa, (Tulsa, ok) and an M.Sc. in Energy, Trade and Finance, from City University’s Cass Business School, London. He attended numerous courses, seminars and conferences around the World.
