The UES machine shop offers comprehensive threading, recutting, rework and refurbishment.

The machine shop is equipped with oil country lathes and has CNC capability upto 14.5 inch hollow spindle, boring mills, surface grinders, shaping, drilling and milling machines. Specialized welding and heat treatment, plus a full stress relieving service is provided in conjunction with machining and welding services.

• UES is a VAM and Tenaris licensee for threading and recutting of high strength premium connections for tubing and casing

• UES also holds licenses for cutting SuperMax connections

• Other services include repair of oil well drilling and production equipment, rethreading of tubular products, bottom-hole assemblies and the rework of general rig equipment

• UES is licensed to manufacture API 5CT, 6A and 7 standards

• Premium rework and refurbishment of rig tools, equipment, pumps, fluid ends, handling tools, BOPs, manifolds, valves and other equipment is completed to current API standards
